De Culturele Alleseter
The Hague’s art and culture sector has a new listening ear learned to put themselves in the hearing and minds of the Hagenezen and residents of The Hague. We would like to introduce ’The Cultural Omnivore’, the new program by Floris Meijer on the brand new PIP Radio, an initiative of ’cultural brothel’ PIP The Hague. Through ’De Culturele Alleseter’ we offer a platform to artists, makers and cultural entrepreneurs that we pay attention to on a monthly basis spend on current performances, exhibitions and events - as well as interesting stories. With this we offer talent from The Hague an opportunity to: to bring initiatives and concepts to the attention of a committed, broad and diverse young audience. In this program I will go into depth through interviews and reporting conversation with the guests - we talk about your festival, event, initiative or work. In addition to the feature on PIP Radio, fragments of the show shared on social media in audiovisual form, including on platforms with a large reach such as the Instagram page of PIP The Hague. In this way we reach a large part of The Hague’s youth who are interested in a wide range of cultural activities, from film to music, from theater to dance.

Deze maand heeft Floris Meijer een gesprek met Peter van Bergen, oprichter van Studio Loos die in samenwerking met museum Beelden aan Zee, After Hours aftrappen met een zintuigprikkelend avondprogramma door aanstormend talent uit Den Haag.
After Hours vindt iedere eerste vrijdagavond (6 september 2024) van de maand plaats van 18:00 tot 22:00 uur. Er wordt tijdens deze avond ook de film “Victor Wentink: Life - A research on our father’s work" door Sarah & Isabelle Wentink. Waarin zij hun vaders werk als creatieve duizendpoot onder de loep nemen.
Zij willen kijken naar de sociale consequenties en cruciale kruispunten die grensverleggend gewerkt hebben en een nieuwe blik op technologie binnen de maatschappij belichten.
Vervolgens komt Alexander Serban namens Podium aan zee vertellen over zijn initiatief Green Waves waarbij zij samen met TrashUre Hunt een festival organiseren. Zij willen hiermee een positieve bijdrage levert aan de bewustwording van de leefomgeving en daar zuinig op te zijn.
Het festival wordt daarom voorafgegaan door diverse workshops van TrashUre Hunt op zaterdagmiddag 14 september, waarbij jongeren onder andere gezamenlijk zwerfafval verzamelenvan het strand-, zee- en duingebied en dit recyclen naar kunstwerken die de zaterdag erop tentoongesteld worden op het muziekpodium.
Ten slotte spreekt Floris met Gerko Telman (Creative Producer Open Amare) en Daniël Patanduk initiatiefnemer van Latin The Hague waar we het gaan hebben over hun gratis workshops Braziliaanse Zouk. Gedurende tien maanden geeft Daniël met zijn organisatie maandelijkse workshops Zouk.

This month, Floris Meijer has a conversation with Peter van Bergen, founder of Studio Loos, who, in collaboration with the Beelden aan Zee museum, kicks off After Hours with a sensory-stimulating evening program by emerging talent from The Hague.
After Hours takes place every first Friday evening (September 6, 2024) of the month from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This evening will also include the film "Victor Wentink: Life - A research on our father's work" by Sarah & Isabelle Wentink. In which they examine their father's work as a creative jack-of-all-trades.
They want to look at the social consequences and crucial intersections that have pushed boundaries and shed light on a new view of technology within society.
Alexander Serban will then talk on behalf of Podium aan zee about his Green Waves initiative, in which they organize a festival together with TrashUre Hunt. They want to make a positive contribution to awareness of the living environment and to be careful with it.
The festival is therefore preceded by various workshops by TrashUre Hunt on Saturday afternoon, September 14, during which young people, among other things, collect litter together.from the beach, sea and dune area and recycle this into works of art that will be exhibited on the music stage the following Saturday.
Finally, Floris speaks with Gerko Telman (Creative Producer Open Amare) and Daniël Patanduk, initiator of Latin The Hague, where we will discuss their free Brazilian Zouk workshops. Daniël and his organization will give monthly Zouk workshops for ten months.

De Haagse kunst- en cultuursector heeft er een nieuw luisterend oorbijgekregen om zichzelf in het gehoor en de geest van de Hagenezen enHagenaars te knopen. Bij deze introduceren wij graag ‘De CultureleAlleseter’, het nieuwe programma van Floris Meijer op het kersverse PIPRadio, een initiatief van ‘cultuurbordeel’ PIP Den Haag.
Middels ‘De Culturele Alleseter’ bieden wij een platform aan kunstenaars,makers en culturele ondernemers waarop wij op maandelijkse basis aandacht besteden aan actuele voorstellingen, exposities en evenementen - evenals interessante verhalen. Hiermee bieden we Haags talent een kans om initiatieven en concepten onder de aandacht te brengen onder een betrokken, breed en divers jong publiek.
In dit programma ga ik middels interviews en verslaggeving verdiepend ingesprek met de gasten - hierbij praten we over jullie festival, evenement,initiatief of werk. Naast de feature op PIP Radio, worden fragmenten van deshow gedeeld op social media in audiovisuele vorm, o.a. op platforms met een groot bereik zoals de Instagram pagina van PIP Den Haag.
Zo bereiken we een groot deel van de Haagse jeugd die geïnteresseerd is in een breed scala aan culturele activiteiten, van film tot muziek, van theater tot dans.
Deze maand heb ik Alexander Serban van het Haags Beat Festival te gast (11 augustus 2024) Een festival wat ieder jaar een ode brengt aan de de Rock en Roll periode die Den Haag als muziekstad op de kaart heeft gezet.
Vervolgens heb ik een telefonisch interview met Piet van Dycke die mij meer gaat vertellen over zijn voorstelling EXIT (22 augustus 2024)
Ten slotte heb ik een interview met Menno Doorschodt die mij meer gaat vertellen over de aankomende editie van Jazz in de Gracht (29 - 31 augustus 2024)
